From a content creation perspective, my system's bog standard aside from Vegas Pro so I'd not really expect there's much there unless professionals who use it routinely install codec packs and such (which I don't have).Ĭomplete name : D:\Sundry Folders\Downloads\20220728_090131_NF.mp4įormat profile : settings : CABAC / 1 Ref Frames I'm fairly new to Vegas Pro but I'd assume there's some way to get software logs (for customer support) to determine what decoded the audio on my system and with a sample video, to reproduce the issue at Magix's end if needed, determine where either the bug (in Vegas Pro) or misconfiguration (on my system?) is. I also did the Ctrl+Shift reset with cached file deletion for good measure.

Regardless, I did try looking for the regkey - there was an empty ASIO key (no Magix Low Latency driver entry inside it), and I deleted that any way.

I definitely do not (and never had) Sound Forge Audio Studio installed. Realistically though, it's not really scalable given how dashcams record videos in 1-minute files and there are a ton of them that need to be stitched, spliced and remixed together to get a desired output. It's not clear why that works, but at least Vegas Pro is not a lost cause for me in this use case.

Now trying to learn how to operate/navigate in the new "beastie. So, converting just the audio out of the video in VLC first (exactly as stated) and then adding it as a separate track in Vegas Pro works just fine. There are NO Graph (speed, distance etc.,) read outs.ģ/. It does not display any Google or Map Quest maps.Ģ/. I have D/L'd & installed the basic pack v1595. (I installed the Basic pack but it removed all the good features of the FULL pack.eg no more MPC HC viewer.) I have the latest FULL pack already installed. Now, the SENEO files load no probs but I get a pop up saying that it requires the K-Lite codec (basic) pack. The cams version info is > G98-WP-A770-1916-S7L I have a SENEO Super 1296 P HD dashcam, which apparently no-one uses, but moi. ("cept for the intermittent lousy recorded audio & the occasional fast forwarding of the audio & GPS data on the map.) I just installed the Dashcam Viewer v3.6.3 & it plays my AZDOME GS63H dashcam files with no probs. Probably also why when we got around to CNC programming, i just stepped back and let the other guys play with that, so even if that have become a lot smarter since the mid 80ties, it is not something i would want to work with. Otherwise i was just a fly on the wall no one noticed, and what ever gibberish ( math ) i did not understand, well i just constructed my way around those problems. Though usually the last week or so i was just there to wait for the other people to get done and that course to end so i could get back to my work place and do something meaningful. Going to trade school back in the day, the only thing teachers ever told me directly was " you have to work slower", and i was like WTF ? i am not even trying to be fast here.

NEways way past my geek level such things, sadly this kind of thing at least in my mind dont yield a immediate result you can step back and admire, and so things like coding ASO my brain just refuse to deal with.Įven if you can of course write a simple code for something simple and get a result.

Yeah i figured something like that, TBH i would assume a "massive" block at the end would be the most popular approach.
